Daniel's Life in Wuhan

Happy Birthday to the People's Republic of China! It's the place where I was born, the place I grew up and the place I spent 2 years of my childhood before going to Singapore. I got woken up by one of my China friend via SMS urging me to watch the National Day Parade on air from 10am. It's a grand ceremony with lots of performers and thrilling stunts.

I fell in love with the China National Anthem. Here is how it goes

Reflection

It's touching to see how patriotic the Chinese are. As my friend said, no Chinese would not be excited for this day when their own country celebrates her birthday. Also, it's the country's 60th Birthday this year so the celebration was very grand compared to the previous years. Loving our country is something we ought to learn from the fellow Chinese we see here. Some of us just do not care about Singapore's national day which means that they are not proud to be a Singaporean. We as Singaporeans should be also united as one to be One People, One National, One Singapore.
